Meet some of the brilliant faces behind our Birkenhead Opiate Team. When we snapped this photo, several team members were already out in the community—doing what they do best: offering compassionate, person-centred support to the people who need it most.

Our Opiate Team works with individuals who use opiate substances, providing tailored one-to-one support to help them take positive steps in their recovery. From managing prescriptions and attending health appointments, to advocating for clients and helping with housing, benefits, or mental health referrals—this team is there every step of the way.

They’re not just keyworkers. They’re listeners, encouragers, problem-solvers, and—often—the first consistent point of contact someone may have had in a long time.

Recovery isn’t always a straight line, and the team understands that better than anyone. They meet people where they are, without judgement, with patience and persistence. They celebrate the small wins, help navigate the tough days, and keep hope alive even when things feel stuck.

We’re incredibly proud of the commitment, empathy, and sheer heart that our Birkenhead Opiate Team brings to their work every day. In this team, you’ll always find support, honest advice, and a genuine smile.
